Welcome to UDAAN - Join us in creating a financially woke India
UDAAN is a non profit organisation that aims to help underrepresented groups such as women learn about financial literacy and gain financial independence. Financial literacy in India lags behind that of many countries. According to a global survey, 20% of the total world population is Indian, but only about 24% of the Indian population knows the basic financial concepts.
Covid-19 taught us many things. Many people got unemployed. And it was then that many people realised the importance of savings and investments. It is essential to become financially literate despite your gender, age, place, lifestyle, etc.
FLFI aims to be a national movement to help underrepresented groups such as women learn about financial literacy and gain financial independence.
Our primary aim is to educate all women of India about basics of money management: budgeting, saving, debt, investing, giving and about all financial opportunities provided by the government of India which are specific to women, such as loans and grants.
